I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and just got around to it! January flew by in a flash. I can't believe its already February! Well, anyway, this is my first blog. I am brand new at this, so it will take me some time to get used to how everything works...
Let me start by introducing my self! I'm Kelsey, known as Mrs. Kelsey by my kids (students). I am a first grade teacher at an afterschool children's center. I only started at the children's center in October as a first time teacher with big plans for helping these kids learn and grow in the best and most comfortable way! Before teaching, I was a therapist for children with Autism. Working as a therapist sparked the beginning of a great passion for working with children! Now, back to the present, I have been working hard to get my first grade classroom up to par. I have been ALL OVER pinterest, teacher blogs and teacherspayteachers to get the best of the best for my kids! We have grown so much as a class over the last few months! It's been a great experience so far and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us! Well, I'm going to cut this short for now so I can get some planning done for this week, but I will be on again later tonight. (Hopefully figuring out how to set up my page and get everything situated the way I would like it to be!)
